Fun Fact: The name "Orangutan" can be split into two words: "Orang" and "Utan". In Malay, these words mean "People" and "Forest" respectively ("Utan" is supposed to be "Hutan"). Thus, the literal translation for "Orangutan" is "People of the Forest"

These are all majestic animals . And most of these are well known animal that we learn in school . Imagine someday theres no more tigers in future generation's textbook 😭

Its sad because most of the very endangered species are very well known, like blue whales and tigers.

Please everyone, make an effort to help these animals and stop them from going extinct.
I ask everyone, even those who don’t use plastic, to switch to glass or metal things instead.

I am proud to say that in past 10 years we have managed to stop the extinction of Indian tigers. Not only that but our efforts have been so effective that tiger population in India has more than doubled from what it was back in 2010. Hope we can do the same for other species too...

Here in the US, we have listed the Ivory Billed Woodpecker, as a "Critically Endangered, possibly Extinct" species. Hopefully some of them still exist in the southern wetlands, it's a spectacular-looking bird and one of the largest woodpeckers in the world IIRC.

We have to help that animals to survive, I can't imagine a world without this incredible animals.

The only thing missing was the cherry-throated tanager, which has only 17 known individuals in the mountains of southeastern Brazil.

U should have to include the rare brow antlered deer only 260 of them are left in their natural habitat... It is found only on Manipur, 🇮🇳India🇮🇳

If we let any of these beautiful creatures become extinct we have failed as one of the most intelligent species. If you decide to research it more, you'll find that almost every single one of these species, if not all of them, are severely endangered because of human activities. We need to be doing better.

Pobres espécies, para algumas ainda há uma mínima esperança, porém para outras a extinção é inevitável pois são números ínfimos demais pra manutenção de uma espécie

I never knew all the most popular and well known animals were the most endangered. I really hope we can bring them back up somehow, but seeing the state our planet is in right now I doubt it. You wont be forgotten you beautiful creatures.
