With the ever-growing popularity of mid-sized crossover SUV's hitting the market, Chevrolet decided to revive an old tried and true name and stick it on their newest offering. Disappointing K5 and S10 Blazer fans, this new Blazer only shares the name in common with the previous variants. While offering no off-road capability, this new Blazer is quite comfortable and capable on the open roads, where it is intended. This is a more mainstream version, being the 3.6L with Leather, and not the more sporty RS version.

Huge thanks to Hobson GM in Martinsville, Indiana for allowing me to film and drive this new Blazer!

Had ours two weeks and it now has 3100 miles in loving it more every day! 27.3 Mpg with the 3.6 4x4 driving in the Mountains in a 197 mile round trip delivery. It gets up and goes like our 2017 Camaro Convertible 3.6 2-LT.He

The blazer and Volt would be the only Chevy models I’ll purchase I’m not a fan with GM but I love the new Buick’s especially the Regal GS

That seems slow for 0-60. I thought I saw somewhere in the mid 6 sec range, which makes more sense with it being over 300hp. The bigger Traverse with a 6 speed transmission and same engine (5hp more) is around 7 sec.

I just took possession of a Brand new 2019 2lt blazer with being really old school I would say that had Chev decided to have an option for 5.3 in this vehicle I would have been all over that... As 454 was an option for the K5 blazer.. Just say'n..
