Many years ago I had a Danish sister who's cat 🐈 became so old and was suffering 😢
So some told her that it's Haram to take its life .
She thought of just leave her outside to die ..
I remember I told her I am sure that's not right..
And I asked some People with genuine knowledge about Islam ☪️
Who said if its deeply suffering then it's called Rahma to end its life .
Like you mentioned Horses 🐎 which broke its leg ..

Islam is Beautiful and through my Eyes perfect..

سلام عليكم..
I am not sure if its this Lecture 🤔 which mentioned that it's not Permitted to be making Dua for non Muslims who paste away.
My Father died when I was a child and my brother when I Embraced Islam ☪️.
So I put it in Allahs "Hands "knowing He is The Just and He will Never judge anyone who never heard about Islam without Pure Justice..

Back in those days people wore leather socks- it makes no sense to apply that in our day and age because no one wears those and it is making the religion needlessly difficult—which defeats the purpose of why masa was allowed in the first place! even ibn Taimiya said any sock is ok, as there is an authentic narration stating the prophet did masa once over his jaurab (not qufh). The prophet didn’t give any conditions on this so why make our lives needlessly difficult? It should be above ankles.
