I've never heard it called Asian flush, I'm asian and most friends are too and we call it Asian Glow

When I was allowed a sip of white wine when I was 12, I experienced all of the symptoms. Itchy eyes and throat, red skin, and my heart beating like a drum solo of Through the Fires and Flames. The accelerated hangover was also true and I had to rest for 1 whole day to feel slightly better.

I feel this so much. My face and body always light up like a freaking Christmas tree. Never gotten drunk though because I can never drink enough to get drunk. My body gets too hot and I have to stop. So can’t say if the hangover thing is true. But the Asian Flush or Asian Glow is so true

My dad's side never drank. All the men on my dad's side had it. When *I* was in Florida in the '90s (not Orlando, though, rural FL) where I finished out high school, it was because my dad had died. I was expected to drink like my mother's *Italian* side, including at the Catholic church where I was rushed through all the rites as fast as possible. That bitty communion glass made me a bit tipsy. Three mouthfuls and I couldn't take the stairs. I knew what it was because my dad and granpa had both talked about it a lot, especially my dad when my mother was back in my life, because she drank like a fish. This scene, though, makes me kinda sad my dad wasn't around to help me get through it the first time I experienced it.

A lot of men in the old country drink anyway. Drunk salaryman passed out in an alleyway is a stereotype. And a fair few numbers of my Japanese American church do. But I don't. A few sips of wine just for the taste maybe once or twice a year only at home where my bed is and I won't get mugged or something. Just like my granpa and dad. They were smart.

I always thought that those symptoms are normal when you drink alcohol, now I know that drinking alcohol won't make you feel uncomfortable for everyone

I grew up in an Asian country and I didn’t know this was an Asian thing. I just assumed this was how some people got drunk.

Thats peer pressure. Trent was basically the one who deserved to be punished for actually having the beer and bringing it. Eddie though fell for it and decided to drink it. Dave, Walter, and Brian didnt even drink it or hold it, and Louis decided to call their parents too. Imagine if Louis called Officer Bryson on all five and he arrested everyone, including Eddie, and Eddie feels betrayed his own dad decided to have his son sent to jail.

Lmao my best friend gets this so bad, , she had a literally SIP of vodka and her face was all flushed (not itchy just red) so i was just stuffing her face with spinach till her parents came

My sisters are Asian (I am not) and not only do they turn red but they can’t process alcohol so a few sips and they are trashed. They are twice my age so it was always interesting at family dinner 😂😂
