Nothing is more disgusting than a elderly man willing to throw his own family under a bus just so he can get an applause and praise from complete strangers who could not care less about the wellbeing of his family or his business. He used his free time on TV to cause damage to his business just because he needed to feel important. If he was my employee he would have gotten a boot at the first sign of such behaviour. Nothing is more devastating to a team than a egocentric and infallible worker whose only concern is to feed his grand sense of self.

Oh my god i remember this episode ! The mother was listening to all the daughters ideas, dissing them all . . . then going behind her back and using them and pretending she'd thought them all up herself. No wonder the daughter was crying tears of anger ! The mother was totally dubbing her up !

I understand the daughter. her parents are stubborn mules and probably have Ben ignoring her ideas for years. she's not pissy with Alex but with her parents that's acting all woo over suggestions she probably had for the last years

I'm not surprised the daughter is struggling emotionally. Can you imagine how frustrating and stressful it is to work with them, particularly when they shut you down all the time (not to mention how that chips at your self esteem)? Add to that growing up being raised by such a arrogant man with such an ego issue he can't accept anyone else could know something better than him, or accept any advice (been there with my father. They don't accept any disagreement and always think they know better, cutting you down every time you try to help or do anything. That's not to mention how damn rude and disrespectful he is to others. They treat you badly and then react angrily to stop you asking them to treat you decently. It's all manipulation), as well as a mum that keeps cutting at her and also thinks she doesn't have any valuable ideas (when she shut her down from even talking sometimes that hit hard, because it's how my mum used to be), and she's lucky she's in the shape she is! She should leave that business. It's for the best
