I have the 18x2 (36 volt) version of the earth auger and while I haven’t used it for boring post holes yet it is a great right angle hole hog and I have no doubt that it will do a great job when I need to do some fencing.
I also have the tower light and am happy with it as well

I’ve had 3 new Makita tools new with manifacturing problems because of poorly made (china)and poor quality control still waiting for U.K. Makita to call me back on the new dls 211zu new problems
