How to Use a Set Square - GCSE Physics

This video introduces the set square and its three uses for GCSE Physics. You probably have one of these in your pencil case (if you don't, you should!) and this is how it can be used.

The three uses are: drawing parallel lines, measuring the diameter of a circle and making sure a ruler is vertical.

Nice Video! Once the ruler is vertical, a second set square can be used at the top of the object to avoid parallax. That is to help you ensure your eye, the top of the object and the part of the meter ruler that you are looking at are all in line.
