Cycling the Heart of Europe Part 1 - North to Germany

Landing in Zurich, Switzerland, we cycle north into Germany where we'll join the Danube Cycle Path and Eurovelo 6, getting our first taste of bike touring in Europe. Along the way we get a taste of beautiful Switzerland, cross the Rhine River, and ride through the Black Forest on our way to the source of the Danube River in Donauschingen. Switzerland and Germany, we discover, both have extensive cycle path networks that criss-cross their respective countries, making bicycle touring in Europe a truly pleasurable experience.

Wow, Thanks for posting this.This looked like a blast to ride. I biked the Danube last year with two buddies and we're doing it again next year. I've never rode this route you did on this video. How many days did you ride for this trip? I would love to add this route to our vacation. All the best
