We are socked in with smoke in Riverside California, i am praying for the safety of the fire fighters and ground crew's working on it. Also for the safety of people in the area.😇❤️☮️🙏💯👍

I was raised in San Bernadino my dad was a fireman. I remember so many horrible fires, it's so hard for the fireman because it's so mountianous.

It grew because they were not using the tankers in the beginning. I live next to the airport and the resources were not being utilized when it began.

SMH. They call the line fire but just say it’s San Bernardino county. But what towns. Dang San Bernardino county is huge.

Declaring a state of emergency does not get more state dollars in as stated, it gets more federal dollars in kind sir.

🔥🔥🔥 California stopped managing their forests decades ago, leaving undergrowth to overgrow which causes perfect conditions for wildfires. This is a direct result of horrible forest management. Everyone knows it, but the news doesn’t report it. Rather, they like to blame other global conditions. Pretty frustrating.
Also, this time of year is the hottest for SoCal. Early fall gets temps on average in the 90’s and sometimes over 100.
They stopped managing the forests, so now we have large swaths of combustible mountain areas and grasslands.

Do they know bulldozers can go just about anywhere but you’d rather watch a grass hill side or sage brush desert burn, there’s always time to cut red tape

Why doesn't the department of Homeland security help fight wildfires

Rick sounds like the type of guy who would thoroughly enjoy interviewing some sweaty young firefighters in the field. 😉🏳️‍🌈

Send in the tens of thousands of homeless to help. Let them earn the benifits they're receiving.

Your mismanagement of the land will have you reaping what you sow. The only thing stronger than man is nature. Centuries of abuse to the land we need to work with. Our fault.
