How To Install Google Drive On Windows 8 || Error Loading Python

This is to overcome the loading python error when trying to install Google Drive on a Windows 8 machine.

##INSTRUCTIONS BELOW##

Open the windows explorer
Paste this address
%USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\
Right click on folder Temp, then Properties, then Security, then Advanced
Then click on button Change permissions
Remove all permissions
Select
Include inheritable permissions from this object's parent
Replace all child object permissions with inheritable permissions from this object
Click OK....

Bonus:Dropbox permissions are fixed too.

Thanks a lot! The same error occured to me a few days ago on Windows 7, after GDrive had been running properly for over a year. Even a new install didn´t do the trick, but after this it works again!

Your little trick almost locked me out of my own computer. A lot of programs (like Google Chrome) couldn't access their data folder anymore and therefore didn't run and I was hardly able to set the permission back. My Windows menu does still not work actually. It already wondered as I watched how removing permissions would be a solution...

W(hy)TF should I have to do all of this BS to install GoogleDrive, when DropBox and other alternatives install on my system with no problem whatsoever? Everything I do while trying to install GoogleDrive returns an installation error 1603. Nothing I have researched resolves my problem. It's just too much headache, I'll opt for an alternative.

my computer wont allow that to happen & still it wont install the Google Drive but now it has stopped printing also. can you tell me if this is a normal thing for the computer to stop printing after performing this action on the computer with windows 8.1
