There is a second version of this called Q-Bert as opposed to Q*Bert. Both are very good. This is Q*Bert.

I owned Q*Bert for the TI-99/4A and I find it surprising that the sound on the Atari 8-bit is exactly the same as the TI version even though both use different sound chips. I find it ironic that the graphically superior Atari has inferior graphics on this port of the game than the TI. The TI version actually shows Q-Bert with full eyes (with pupils) while Atari shows Q-Bert with black holes for eyes.

It seems like a fast pace version. But when he hops on the disc he seems to hang out at the top for a few seconds. And no intro to the next level which is nothing major. Me personally I prefer the colecovision version the best but this is a solid port.
