Maximum of £50mill or walk away, De Ligt, Gleason Bremer, Jean-Clair Todibo would all be available is that price range, United may even get De Ligt or Gleason in a player (Sancho/Greenwood) + cash deal so paying £70m-£80m on Braithwaite is just completely illogical.

Sell Sancho, Greenwood, Casemiro, Van De Beek, Hannibal, Eriksen, AWB and Pellistri. Sign Branthwaite centre back. Frimpong or Dumfries at right-back. Joao Neves, Fofana or Ederson (Atalanta) defensive midfield. Toney, Jonathan David or El Neysri striker.

A nother mistake by United recruitment team. Retaining Greenwood will be ideal position. Signing Branthwaite is another wasted pounds by utd on hyped English player by English media.
