There are two types of people in this world, those who have heard this song and those who haven't.

It’s hard to believe this song is 36 years old, sounds like it could have been recorded yesterday.

Just the 80's was the best decade ever for music, movies, fun, relationships etc. Those of us who was there know what I'm tlkn about.

At 62, I realize now that singers in the 80s like The Blue Nile, Simple Minds, and others were the crooners of our generation, just like the Sinatras of my dad's generation. There were wonderful arrangements, orchestrations, and lyrics that spoke to our hearts.

I have a 35-minute mix of this I made about 12 years ago. I never thought the ending was long enough so I made it with loops and echoes of Paul's voice. I am really happy with it still. I was playing it in my car again today and I had to get on Youtube and visit. 2023.

I've met the singer/songwriter Paul Buchanan a few times in Glasgow. He lives nearby. Lovely man. Very approachable.

I'm from the heart of Gen X, graduated high school in 1989. During those years I primarily listened to what was then known in the States as "College Rock". And yet, I can't recall ever hearing this song until today, when I caught it on a streaming 80's channel. How is this possible? What a song! One of those rare songs that sucks you in on the very first listen.
