I find it funny that the more technology thats made to help us sample, the less creativity people use when they sample

im still a beginner producer but one of the things i think helps with sampling is choosing a song that have a meaning or a memory attached to you believe me you will work on it better

10/10, such a concise breakdown from beginning to end. I skipped and then realised I missed so much so had to go back and watch it in full!

This was by far, the most comprehensive, helpful, and creative Sampling Techniques video I've ever seen. I've been searching for a video like this for a while and most time the techniques are either WAY to basic (such as simply chopping, or pitching a sample), or WAY to complicated, and they assume the viewer is a top notch producer/audio engineer.

This was the best of all worlds, as it was showed the basic tactics for beat hobbyists like myself, but also thoroughly explained the more difficult techniques that I want to start exploring, as I feel I've moved into intermediate levels of sampling techniques. All in all, thank you for such a great video. You've got a subscriber out of me and I will continue to follow your content.

This is some good advice. Another tip I’d add: if you’re sampling vinyl and CDs is go digging in charity / thrift stores in more multicultural areas of your city. There’s nothing better than striking gold on someone’s grandmas entire collection of Indian / Thai / Korean vinyl 👀

This is one of the best video’s made regarding this topic. I’m fully into sampling on the mpc and even using some of the beginner’s techniques make wonders!

Never realized that utilizing midi notes was God level lol, it's how I started... Now I'm much more into theory and playing chords/progressions myself.

Everyone else has already said most of everything, so I'll say this: one of my favorite parts of this is seeing his face and mood light up whenever he's playing or making music.

I love seeing fellow creatives in their zone. Hella inspiring.
