Paper Plate Alien Spaceship

Your child will go galactic over this cosmic craft that is out of this world! This cute and cheerful Alien UFO is a fun way to let your little one paint, cut, and decorate to infinity and beyond. Remember to introduce new vocabulary and discuss fascinating space facts while creating the craft together. When the activity is done, your child will have an extra awesome extraterrestrial who is ready for an intergalactic adventure!

Materials:
- Paper plates
- Paint
- Paintbrush
- Scissors
- Silver foil
- Cupcake bowl
- Hot glue gun
- Clear plastic cup
- Green construction paper
- One popsicle stick
- Googly eyes
- Beads (glow-in-the-dark optional)

Instructions:
1. Paint both plates with your favorite color
2. Wrap silver foil around cupcake bowl for molding
3. Cut excess foil off
4. Remove cupcake bowl from silver foil
4. Glue plates together with bottoms facing outwards
6. Glue molded silver foil onto middle of the top plate
7. Create green alien out of green construction paper and a popsicle stick
8. Glue googly eyes to alien
9. Glue alien to top of silver foil
10. Glue clear plastic cup to silver foil
11. Glue glow-in-the-dark beads to the outside edges of the plate for lights
