How do you know which way to put tension on the lock?

Hi I just bought the same lishi then you need to put heavy tension so you can turn the cylinder I'll be practicing but no luck

Unfortunately, sometimes customer doesn't tell all truth about history of car locks and that creates big problems. One time I was doing AKL on VW, car was unlocked but I couldn't pick door lock, no matter what. Ended up picking ignition, and after key was made it turned out that door lock was completely seized or damaged inside, can not be turned at all. And I had quite few cases like this. " I don't know, everything was working". Yeah, sure.
