Traffic Distribution MQTT Arduino Prototype for IBM using Node-Red

For a Digital Art & Technology project in module 302 - Everyware, we were tasked to create a beneficial 'Smarter Planet' project prototype using both MQTT alongside IBM's new Node-Red.
This is an example of our traffic distribution idea. as you can see as more cars are added to the quickest route and they become congested, the city intelligently suggests the next car takes another quicker route. Also showing the ability to block roads if necessary.

We have 3 Arduinos running each with its own dedicated RFID reader, two with separate LED red and green lights. These Arduinos connect, receiving and publishing to an MQTT broker, which is then taken into IBM's Node-Red which uses Javascript to determine which cars are on which road, which also then publish to a HTML5 webpage that is subscribed. Node Red also sends to Twitter to tweet the congestion no roads.
