"Inside Out" is a journey through the innocence of childhood, the uncertainty, angst, and rebellion of adolescence, through the desire for inner peace, and finally to celebrate ourselves from the "Inside Out"!

I am one of the proud fee who can say they were there, who did that, and preformed Inside Out. I can tell you right now that i have never felt more accomplished on ANYTHING I have ever done, hearing your name being called as state champions is a feeling that CAN NOT be described in a million words. Its a thing you have to experience right in the moment. To my fellow "Inside Outers" I love you and thank you for the opportunity of a lifetime. I miss you all especially you COURTNEY!!! <3

I'm from Iowa Park and I've always looked at the Argyle Band with respect no matter where I was because my dad is a director, and just being in the same area as argyle high school adds a special kind of difficulty to marching and all state band.

Man, still gives me chills listening to this whole performance. Never gonna forget my freshman year as a trumpet and marching this show. Something im going to show my kids one day for sure.

I marched with Lubbock-Cooper at this competition as a Freshman and still, to this day, I remember Argyle as the band who blew everyone away with this performance. I am so so thankful that someone recorded this and that we have this on here still. You guys did absolutely outstanding. The fact that I still remember this, 12 years later!!!

I love that show! Who remembers having to learn all those special effects? Kneeling on cardboard since the asphalt cut our knees? Anyone? Oh, or "rising like the sun?" The airplane run? Come on, I know you're out there...I myself was a slow motion marcher. :)

The trumpet sextet gets me every time. I'm so glad KJ took advantage of having 5 stellar Senior trumpets and a beast Junior trumpet. Just a personal thank you to the underclassmen who watch this video, thank you guys for all the hard work and time put in to the show. We couldn't have done it without you guys.

Oh, @emz3mtsyb, we didn't mic our best players. We mic'd the soloists and the flute quartet. Us in the trumpet sextet didn't need mics. Our snare soloist didn't need a mic either.

@emz3mtsyb Yes microphones were present on the field, and it is hard to distinguish amplified sound on a video recording, but video does show people, and if you watch there are 5 people with mics, a clarinet/sax player and 4 flutes. watch carefully, they only turn them on during their solos. I'm sorry to inform you, but if a band only miked their best players, it wouldn't be able to compete with the sound that the majority of state finalist bands produce.

I agree with you, except that's not a luxury everyone shows are expensive. And this still doesn't change the fact just because writers don't mind reselling their shows at a discount and plenty of bands are willing to pay for it, doesn't mean that bands that play them are ripping off other schools' shows.
