I have never really understood how some people enjoy programming without enjoying mathematics... I have always found the process of designing algorithms to be quite similar to coming up with formal proofs of mathematical theorems. Besides, if you really wanted to avoid math, telling a machine which can do nothing but basic arithmetic what to do isn't really the best career choice

I still have a few books on making game engines from the 90's and a lot of the old books are still very relevant. Ok, now I just feel old. lol

Computer graphics was my favorite course in computer science. It was a senior level course elective in the computer science curriculum. Thank you for posting the link for this book.

Coming back to edit my response after skimming through the book. Maybe I missed it but I didn’t see chapters talking about primitives and transformations. Learning about computer graphics primitives and how to perform transformations (translating, scaling, and rotating) are some fundamentals of computer graphics that are essential.

I can't read about math in any capacity - these books are for a different type of programmer whom I wish I was but in reality I really don't have a practical need for. Getting around the hard math means you are smart depending on how you look at it.
