As someone with complex mental health issues, I wasn't aware that my issues made me able to just do whatever I want to regardless of who gets hurt or how severe the crime is and than apologize and blame my issues and I'll never see jail. Hell yeah, I'm so ready to go rob banks and blame my depression.

:| Sarcasm aside, mental health issues do not excuse anyone's behaviors. It is on you to get help, stay on treatment, and recognize your responsibility and part you played in what was done.

I would have considered watching the movie and respecting the studio if they said:

“We sincerely apologize for the behavior of Ezra Miller, we understand and are well aware of the criminal activity done by the actor. We do not condone and neither approve of any and all allegations. Therefore, unless contrary evidence provided we have decided to no longer continue working with Ezra Miller as the flash. We will still be releasing the movie as this has been a long awaited film(instead of saying we don’t wanna lose all our money) for many. We again love our fans and only want to give them what they want and we will no longer be having any future ties with Ezra Miller.

Instead they chose:
Ezra is apologizing for his criminal behavior due to mental health issues.

Like is integrity no longer a thing ? Like you can do the right thing and not support a deranged man who’s a sex cult leader. Like do they hire imbeciles to run that company.

You know we have problems when a significant number of people defend a crime which arguably should always result in a death sentence. Pedophilia is one of the few crimes that are actually worse than murder.

He's trying to side step the severity of the crimes and immoral views he holds. It's like claiming mental insanity in court to get a lighter sentence. I wouldn't be surprised if Warner Bros. I've had a conversation with a friend about something like this one time. She knew a guy accused of numerous crimes and he told her how sorry he felt for everything and that he was already suffering because people close to him were turning away. I told her I didn't care, because feeling sorry for your crimes without paying for any of it is just bullshit and doesn't mean anything. "Oh I killed this guy but you know I'm very sorry about it, so it's ok now right?". Nobody cares! What an easy way out to just say that deep down inside you feel really sorry and just walk away without any consequences, isn't it? Turn youserlf in, do your time, make up for all the victims you've hurt and then maybe I'll listen to your apology. Until then, save it for yourself.

People have gone to jail or were punished for far less crimes. Ezra getting therapy only doesn't sound like justice at all. HE has to be punished by the law for all the crimes he did for the past few years.
