Lord of the Rings. Most complete score of all time. Literally every track is iconic.

The Interstellar soundtrack is the main reason I love the movie. And there are just so many other reasons the movie is amazing!

Danny Elfman’s score for the first two Raimi Spider-Man movies are some of my absolute favorite… those main titles give me chills everytime i start the movie and the score is just so iconic. but i also really appreciate and enjoy John William’s Star Wars and Harry Potter. instantly recognizable. those two composers never fail to amaze me.

My personal top 10:
10. Requiem for a dream
9. Terminator 2 - it's not super memorable on its own terms, but it complements the movie flawlessly, and at the end of the day, that's what movie scores are meant to do
8. Mission Impossible - it's a daily one for me, it's just awesome in every way, shape, and form
7. Casablanca - easily my favorite score from the Golden Age, and it's perfectly used in all the right moments, particularly in that iconic airport scene
6. Babylon - this thing has been on my mind since January, I love how bombastic and loud it is at times, while also being very emotional and somber in the quieter moments
5. Saw - best horror track ever in "Hello Zepp"
4. The Shining - the opening theme perfectly sets the tone of the movie, and I love how the score mainly consists of noises, it's pretty unsettling
3. Pirates of the Caribbean - Nolan may be my favorite director, and Inception may be my favorite movie, but as far as Hans Zimmer's concerned, nothing tops this as far as I'm concerned
2. Once Upon a Time in the West - the 3 main characters' themes are all absolutely fire, but Jill's theme in particular is probably the most elegant and moving theme I've ever heard in any movie ever. How Morricone wasn't even nominated for an Oscar is beyond me
1. Lord of the Rings - nothing has come close to this. The amount of memorable tracks in this trilogy is off the charts, I can probably humm like at least 10 of them on the spot. Not only that, but Howard Shore somehow managed to make the music feel like Tolkien's writing, which is something I've never experienced with anything else

Man I really hate how much people just brush off La La Land, the movie and the soundtrack, the soundtrack is genuinely beautiful, it’s not the same as all others and has a different vibe, I listen to Epilogue so much and it genuinely has so much emotion and playfulness and tragedy, really sucks how much people hate the film cause of no reason

Fun fact: The "Inception" theme can be heard in the Dark Knight Rises theme. If you open the "Deshi Basara" theme from TDKR, the main event from Inception can be heard there.

The theme for the dollars trilogy is the best music in cinematic history.

The score from Man of Steel is, in my opinion, THE BEST movie score ever made. That makes this a hot take. If you disagree with me, just listen to "What Are You Going To Do When You Are Not Saving The World?" which is the best from the movie. "Flight" and "Arcade" are also really good.
Also big shoutout to John Williams. He gave us a lot to respect him for; Star Wars, Superman, Indiana Jones, Harry Potter... It goes on.
