We LOVED our stay here. We mostly do budget hotel, so this was a really nice splurge.

I stayed there for 20 days in 2009 (last time I went to Nicaragua). It was the best hotel I’ve stayed in Nicaragua (I was a kid). Now I’m going for the first time since then in may, and I’ll be staying at the Hyatt.

Ask about day passes, sometimes they are available. This would be a great spot in the city to chill for the day relaxing around the pool.

So glad you guys got to stay at the Intercontinental... it's definitely my fave hotel in Managua 👍🏻 I had the pleasure of staying there back when it was newish... I used to get a deal through American Express/Credomatic for $99 -- this was for a suite on the penthouse floor with daily open bar and hors d'oeuvres ❤❤❤ Glad to see it's still a great deal!!! Those rates are amazing for the type of hotel/service/amenities.
PS: Did y'all know that the original intercontinental in Managua is the present day Crowne Plaza? (The one shaped like a pyramid) ✌🏻😎
