The reason Amad is romanticised is that he has shown a lot every time he has gotten a chance

Amad was ready 3yrs ago.

Has this club become immune to technical footballers? Since his debut I could recognise that Amad has something. I’m not saying he’s world class or anything along those lines but give the players who have continually played and played poorly, Amad has deserved a chance based on that alone.

However I saw his ability 3yrs ago, he scored that amazing back header vs AC Milan and he had a quality end of season game away to Wolves at the end of the Covid season.

How it’s taken this long for the club to finally realise that we have a quality player on our books is ridiculous. If he was in La Liga or Seria A we’d be screaming for this player.

I was a big fan of Amad since I saw him hit play for the U23s and that superb header vs Milan.
It took him a while and it shows that talent sometimes needs development and nurturing, he's pretty much our best Winger winger (not a wide forward) his link up play is great, his shooting is great, he's constantly a threat, he doesn't shy away from getting stuck in with Defencive duties.
If he was English he would have had a 70 million price tag on him

The problem now days with 17 year olds like Yamal starting week in week out is that we start thinking if a player isn’t starting week in week out by the time he’s 22 he’s got no hope. Amad clearly needed more time to develop physically but he’s shown he has the ability. If he takes the chance he could still be are starting RW for the next 5-10 years easily.

Jay saying the front three of rashford, hojlund, and garnacho works doesn’t track with reality. Unless he’s banking on them all getting better this season, I think stylistically those 3 don’t have a synergistic effect on each other. You need a Sancho/diallo type winger on one side to balance out the head down rashford/garnacho style. Otherwise, hojlund will be in the same exact situation as he was last season, no service.

Him not getting playing time at United is absolutely nothing to do with him, it’s purely the 100m signings ahead of him and club politics

Ive wanted to see more of Amad since he arrived. He has great vision and his close control is next level. He can be an important player to unpick the low blocks many teams use to frustrate us. One of the most exciting players for me.

What are you talking about Joseph 1:19 fuck social media it’s what he does on the pitch, he gives it his all. He gets his head up and then he can deliver a good cross for Hojlund or ZIRKZEE or he can cut in and score himself. He has got it all

it quite be possible that you could have Rashford and sancho on the bench, garnacho on the left and amad on the right

I find it kinda funny
I find it kind of sad
That day we beat the scousers
Was the best I'd ever had
I don't mind to tell you
Klopp found it hard to take
Garnacho running rings around them
But it was .... Amad's world

Amad’s pressing is also really under rated.

Yes lads! Amad is different on the ball, silky, he needs a good run of games and with a bit of luck hopefully this will be his real breakthrough year! And he made the scoussers cry so already a club legend in my eyes. Best moment of the ten hag era! ❤ GGMU

the real question is, will ETH choose his boy from Ajax or the guy actually performing

Antony's defensive benefit isn't how he tracks back it's how well he presses. For Højlund's first premier league goal came because Antony pressed and won the ball back on the goal sign and forced that corner. There are more examples too. He's not good enough and Amad presses really well so it's a moot point but I think Antony's pressing is elite.

Diallo has to start. Unlike Antony, who is decent, will actually take on defenders & beat them. If he doesn't score, he is able to put a decent cross in the box for someone. I believe his game has really developed over the last 2yrs. I hope he has one hell of a season. Great show gang!

I'm excited to see him start on the right this season, and Garnacho on the left.

I like this style of video. Concise, to the point with a clear subject. Nice addition.
