this is thanksgiving cactus. (Schlumbergera truncata) christmas cactus (Schlumbergera x buckleyi) stems are more notched (not as toothed than S. truncata) than thanksgiving cactus. some stems on a plant can be more toothed than others. S. truncata can come in a huge variety of colors while S. x buckleyi will almost always be pink. Lower front petals aren’t really folded back like S. truncata.

Could anyone tell me why mines is covered with white strings? I think they’re clearly roots but I’m not sure what to do pls help

How can I trust a business that can’t tell the difference between a Thanksgiving cactus and a Christmas Cactus or even perpetuates this lie by continually calling it the wrong name?!

That’s a Thanksgiving Cactus not a Christmas Cactus.
