I am proud to introduce you the new Meris Mercury X. I have been a beta tester for a few weeks and I have been impressed by the immense beauty that this pedal can create.
The Mercury X has a modular concept, following their previous pedal, the LVX.

Seen a few demos. The Timeline’s time may be up. This sounds bigger and more beautifully out of the way all at once. Maybe the genius pre-delay function is how that almost glassy sense of space seems to be present without killing the source signal. Every reverb pedal (and probably plugin) I use brings on headroom and spacial separation/clarity issues. I love them all (come on, what’s not to love about big, cavernous, fake spaces) but on top of all the levels of real time creativity this seems to offer, there is that lovely, “get the hell out of the way of my part” factor that I haven’t yet heard in a pedal or a plugin. Sounds like in the reverb world, something has come along that might finally live up to that overused title: Game Changer. Lovely demo video. I have to say that some of these sounds you are using would probably sound as beautiful dry…😀

Another video gem, so precious. Ok, I now know that Mercury X is all I wish from a reverb pedal.

you're videos are becoming art themselves. if all else fails, you can always become a gear seller by collabs with all the brands. If I were a pedal/synth manufacturer I'd also send you one hoping for a review haha! great work.

Nice demo. Meris pedals are amazing! I tried the LVX and it was deep. I am a reverb and delay pedal junkie. Have both from Empress, Source Audio, Strymon, Eventide H90, and a Specular Tempus. All have a different sound, feature set, and truthfully enjoy each and every one of them. My wallet hates me!!

Just got one of these. One thing I really like is controlling the beautiful sounding filter. Which you can control by expression pedal, MIDI etc.. So, this unit might seem expensive initially, but when you consider that you can use it as a lovely stereo filter, and that it also does this trem/vibrato stuff too, it's closer to a major part of a pedal board system. Just add a combo expression volume like the HoTone Soul Press II, a good cheap compressor like Mooer Yellow Comp, or even Walrus Mira, a dual overdrive like EHX HotTubes or Hotwax, and a nice cheap BBD like the TC Electronic Bucket Brigade, and it's the centre piece of a whole very high-quality board. Yes, the LVX is awesome too, but there are great sounding bargain basement delays. You do end up spending 300eur for a similar quality stereo reverb like the Golden Reverberator. But you get much less control, no MIDI, limited presets/no user presets. Del-verb adds a nice delay, but even less control. Source Audio Collider or Ventris might be competitors, cheaper, but they do less. Zoia or Zoia Euroburo compares in some ways, but similar price, and Reverb is very good, but not as good as this.

So awesome. I purchased the LVX because of your review/demo of it and I fell in love with it. I’m obviously getting this now.

I'm so happy I waited for Meris to release a sister (reverb) pedal to sit to their piece of art --the LVX.
I, of course, never knew they would release one, but I just had a feeling due to LVX's sound quality and it's vast sound design abilities.

AND....I't has a sample & hold????

I have the LVX for the ultimate delay and have been wanting to get a Nightsky for the longest time, but now Mercury X has appeared. Seeing that you have experience with both reverbs which is the one you prefer?

Thank you, interesting. Just a question: at around 11:25mn i dont understand about 'the pre-dealy is synced to the instrument' and in the example at 12:30 i don't hear the 'delay' and 'ryrhmic addition' you speak of.
