This is a very simple and basic tutorial for absolute beginners to the Git version control system, as well as the popular developer website GitHub. In an attempt to keep it as understandable as possible, I only explain basic operations such as commit, push, pull, etc. without going into much detail.

Hi Umil, Thanks for a wonderful tutorial. Any ideas why when I open the gitHub app on my desktop it cannot find my repositories on the Git Hub webpage? I logged in using my correct username and password but still not success.
