In my battery test, Avengers is played back on a loop until the phone runs out of battery. The screen is set to full brightness, and phones are on airplane mode, with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth off. All tests are filmed with new phones that have full battery health.

We can put 10000mA battery in a phone and call it a battery champion but which phone lasts longer on a smaller battery size is what matters here, phone shouldn't heat or throttle screen refresh rate ( 120 Hz to 60 Hz) or dim the display brightness during its test. I can easily say, iPhone 16 base model has 60 Hz display where 16 Pro model has 120 Hz ( 120 frames per second) , question is if you did change the refresh rate to 60 on 16 pro to match 16? We can consider various parameters like that. Having said that, iPhone 16 Pro is impressive here with its form factor and battery efficiency. Apple has done something quite good and differently with battery for 16 Pro, its battery is sealed in metal case this year!
