Hi guy's, Queni's first winter event was 11/2017, regarding fish flashing, if it's a lazy slow flash, I try to ignore it, even if several fish are doing it, could be ph fluctuation /temps going up/down, etc, if their flashing with purpose then i find it difficult to sit on my hands, and will scrape.
Only thing I would do now with your set up, is install a protein up pipe to your shower out pipe, similar to koi diaries, Frank, from the koi channel and rasta koi, your system in my eyes would then be perfect.

Another interesting video Steve. I usually leave my fish until at least 4 different fish are flashing almost on a daily basis before scraping. If the water temperature goes up a couple of degrees in 48hours they like to jump, which I’ve now learnt to sit on my hands for. Queni Koi first winter event was November 2017. I would be inclined to leave your bio chamber alone, if it ain’t broke don’t fix it. Stay safe and well 👍🏻

Shower looks like a proper job👍😊. Think I’d have to find a use for that spare tier, filter floss seems like a good option👍 Great prize, answer is November 2017 . I think we’ve still got a pair of those plastic round nose scissors from when my son was a kiddie, I’ll send them too you now that you can’t be trusted with anything sharp😂🤣😂. You’ll be wearing anti-scratch mittens before you know it🤣😂🤣. Pond and fish looking good despite any flashing👍. Stay safe👍🈲🐟😊
