Keep in mind that some people just delete their app but not the account, and there are also weird people out there who steal people’s pics on insta or whatever and use them for dating profiles.

Some dating apps make it hard to delete your account to build their profiles. May make you login from a desktop instead off mobile etc. but one way I got around it was to just delete my pictures. I probably have several profiles on apps still out there but I’m not active at all and it’s been over 5 years….
