The cheaper manitou forks are also really good, for €280 I got a manitou machete 140mm of travel, it has the same adjustments as that rockshox and I think is comparable to more expensive forks, I prefer it to the bomber Z2.

Dude, I just got a 120 mm travel version of this with the 15x100 mm thru axle, online from a shop for $170 new, free shipping. No Shit. I am going to put it on my Schwinn Axum, but now need a new front wheel. What a steal!!

I have RockShox silver 35 RL is this Recon RC in video better choice ?
I have been reading some negative comments about silver 35.
But those people maybe dont have RL like me and I heard/read that 35 its not upgradeable beyond that - spring parts.
I just want decent fork to last for around 10 years of use. With servicing it when needed ofc.

I have the rockshox. Rebound is so slow. Ecen on max. How to fix? Only have slow rebound and fast. 1 setting. Plus conpression

I'm wondering if it's worth it to put one of these on my '99 Mesa GSX (to replace the Rockshox Jett fork that it came with) or if I should throw in the towel and get a new bike. I like the old steed enough that I'm hanging onto it either way and I've already converted it to 1x with a clutch derailleur (Microshift Acolyte) and a pair of Maxxis Holy Rollers. On the other hand, it will always be a 26" bike with rim brakes that really only works as an around town bike and light trail riding.

I’m currently looking at these forks, I’m used to no suspension and the bike I just got is way to soft . Do these adjust for road riding or are they always bouncing? Thanks

why is there stanchion oily marks on the fork? that is what happens also on my 140mm recon silver, it comes off with a towel but i wonder if you have a fix for it
