This was honestly a huge W for the animation/voice acting community! I was so happy when they announced that Colleen was going to reprise her role as Tails for the movie! I loved her since Sonic Boom! Hopefully, this will be the first step for voice actors to gain bigger Hollywood roles in the film industry! Jeff Fowler really is the GOAT 💯

Colleen O'Shaughnessey nearly cried when she finally met Jim Carrey She went up to him to introduce herself, and assumed he didn't know who I was. She said, "Hi, I'm Colleen, I play Tails." He grabbed both of my hands, and bent over and went, "I know." "And it was so sweet. He had the sweetest smile on his face, and I was like, "I'm gonna cry." And I know he said something after that, and I'm sure I said things too, but I have no idea beyond that what either of us said." She stated.

I love that Colleen is voicing Tails in the movie. I'm a longtime Sonic fan so I'm partial to the older voices but she's definitely my favorite voice actor for Tails thus far

This is a huge moment for professional voice actors. I honestly expected them to replace with some big recognizable actor, but they kept her. That is a very rare feet in Hollywood. She is providing the voice of a main character is a major blockbuster movie. That is not something you see very often for VAs like Colleen nowadays. Major props to the one true Miles "Tails" Prower.

Sonic 2 was great, it so well done for the most part. I loved how it showed Sonic and Tails' friendship begin and it felt so authentic. Funny film too and a good length. A must see!

i am so so so glad they got her to do Tails' voice. I know the norm is now to hire a-list/well known Hollywood movie stars but honestly, voice actors get little to no recognition most of the time, so to get Colleen O'Shaughnessey is a victory. This is a role she's been doing officially for years, and to be able to do it on the big screen.

It took a while, decades in fact, to get a Tails' voice this good. It finally came together. I really hope they get to do the Sonic's fake death scene on the Ark in the third movie and really hear Colleen portray a Tails committed to defeat Eggman by himself
