All right, I figured it out. You MUST exhaust all dialogue with the Stalwart at every spot. Otherwise he will not move up the mountain and the final cart will not spawn. You can be in Ch6 and travel back. The fast travel will show an icon of the stalwart based on where he is. Travel there and talk to him then move up. Ashen Pass I, Camp of Seasons, Emerald Hall (cart location), cooling slope If you haven't been doing the horse quest you will not get Dark Thunder. I think this one you need to complete before maybe getting to Furnace Valley at the latest.. Pick up the Top Takes Bottom, Bottom Takes Top on your way in Emerald Hall so you dont have to come back later..

Appreciate the video want to add tho if you don’t do all the dialog earlier you can still beat the cart in emerald Hall, you’ll just need to go back to finish the dialog prior to getting the final Cart

i beat the yaksha king before doing this questline and now i cant pull the rope on the third cart, so do i need ng+ to fight erlang?

I've killed all but the last cart and the bull has disappeared for me, he didnt show up to help me with the fourth cart as well. Am i just gonna have to wait for ng+?

I defeated all the tanks but the one in front of the ice gate does not appear. I spoke to the bull at the beginning of the chapter who never moved from there. Now he told me that we would be at the top but I can't find him anywhere anymore. Recommendations
