Im in RI. A friend of mine recently was charged with possession of so called high capacity magazines under this ridiculous ban. The supreme court needs to quit pussyfooting around and make a clear ruling once and for all on this crap. So sick of the never ending legal attacks on constitutional rights. They need to shut this shit down NOW, not 10 years, millions in legal fees and delayed rights later.

These magazine bans are litterally a solution to a problem that doesn't exist.
As such, passing these anti-gun laws simply helps set precedent to pass more restrictive laws on detachable magazines of any sort and then the eventual ban on any firearm that accepts a magazine, and on and on...

Gov Florio in New Jersey, years ago, put in place a semi-auto ban. The people of New Jersey ignored this ban. Eventually the politicians dumped the ban.

We don't need the courts, arguing about how many angels can dance on the head of a pin. We need fearful politicians - fearful of being voted out, or fearful of the hangman's noose. Whatever you do, DISOBEY.

The attorneys that try and prosecute a case that gets deemed "unconstitutional", then that attorney/prosecutor should lose their license to practice law in this country for life.

Local, state or federal government can't say that so-called "large capacity magazines" are unnecessary for self defense when they themselves use them daily for self defense. It's a losing argument every time.

Not only forfeiting your property, but if you draw the short straw and face multiple threats, 10 round limit may cost you your life.
Virtually no one has used a second magazine in a self defense situation. You have what's in the gun and then you have a paper weight.

The supreme court is not doing it's job, they have made it clear these unconstitutional infringements on our rights are to be judged based on history and text pre 1791, yet lower courts continually ignore this and weasel around it to uphold unconstitutional laws which in fact are not laws, the supreme court has repeatedly tried to set the standard these lower courts should use and they don't. they should hear and judge ALL 2A cases and override these lower courts but they're not doing it and we suffer for it.
