Peter Terry, “The Changeless Faith of God”: The Unity of Religion

When Baha’is have presented what they call “the Baha’i principles”, they often give a short summary of three – the unity of God, the unity of religion and the unity of humanity. The webinar will examine the unity of religion citing the words of Baha’u’llah, ‘Abdu’l-Baha and Shoghi Effendi, and will suggest some possibilities for interfaith dialogue related to this principle. It will include references to the essential (perennial) teachings of religion, the secondary (dispensational) teachings of religion, the false dogmas which obscure the original teachings of the Manifestations of God, and responses to claims to doctrinal exclusivism and revelational finality.
