Seattle Retro Video Game Pick Ups Haul

We just got back from visiting family in Seattle, and we decided to do a little game hunting while we were there...we ended up filling a whole carry-on suitcase with game stuff...oops.

Thanks! I can't believe how much stuff we got! I'm glad I thought to bring an extra empty duffel bag to put our clothes in because I had a feeling our suitcase might get taken over by games ;)

Yes I can see the attraction for Nintendo games especially the hidden gems on the wii, such as The boy and his shadow or No More a Heroes 1 & 2, not to mention the classic mario & luigi games! With the xbox games I tend to only get the exclusives, most of which are marked as "only on xbox" on the cover, which makes it easy to identify! Given a choice I focus on ps2 and ps1, although I have a bit of everything amassing a very large collection of consoles and games! Game hunting is fun! :)

We see quite a few PS2 games and pick them up when we see good titles, and we actually still have all our PS2 games from when they were new. We don't pick up as much original Xbox stuff. I tend to leave that to Matt as I am not familiar with many of the titles and I tend to be more drawn to Nintendo stuff of the newer gens...well, the older gens too...Haha! Matt's more into Dreamcast, PS1 & PS2 right now though so we are getting quite a varied collection. :)

Thanks so much for the sub! I just subbed to you too! Yeah, we definitely splurged and spent more than we usually do on games this time. Since we were on vacation in an area where we had access to good game stores we thought we'd stock up a bit :)

Have you considered collecting ps2 and xbox games - they are the future retro, and very cheap right now with hundreds of great games to pick up! I usually pick them up from 50p to £2. This is what most collectors did with the nes and snes games about 10 years ago, when you could pick up boxed editions for a few dollars/pounds - now they are harder to come by in the wild (except for sport titles of course)!

Really great pick ups Really glad to see more couples collecting together it cool. Great channel just subbed. Know how you feel the cheapest it get games are 2 dollars i hate paying 5 bucks for more in less they are RPGS are games that i know im going to enjoy. Keep on gaming and collecting.

Man all the stores here in Florida are just lame...The only hope is the flea market but even there you have to get out early before you get burned by the sun!
