This is why after i’d graduated from college and after my dad died I went to auto mechanics school and befriended local mechanics so this wouldn’t happen to me. I know how to everything from an oil change to dropping an engine into a car. I’m older now and don’t work on my car as often but i had to take it to a shop for repair and he told me i needed a tie rod, I asked inner or outer? He looked at me so funny snd said “oh you know the difference?’ yeah not only do I know the difference I know i don’t need either

This is why I begged my dad, a mechanic, to teach me at least the basic about cars.
