I'm an American who regularly visits the UK, and every morning I'm there, it's Gregg's sausage rolls and a latte. They're really convenient to eat while driving. I wish we had them here in the states.

Personally, I wouldn't cosider that a bacon butty as it was on toasted bread. I think they are much better on untoasted buttered white bread with HP sauce. HP kicks the butt of ketchup when paired with a bacon butty.

I haven't had a Greggs sausage roll in so long, ive now moved to a new place and was faced with a greggs, i whistled as i walked in, bought a sausage roll and skipped up the road eating it. Soooo good. Best sausage roll by a mile. ❤

Try a Steak and Kidney Pudding, once one of Britain's favourite meals only a few decades ago until burgers, pizza, Chinese noodles, Indian curries came along.. Still holding its own at Wetherspoons but hardly any cafes in SE England make it sell it nowadays, a nation conquered first sees its food completely and utterly replaced.. A call out to British people, have a Steak & Kidney Pudding at least 4-6 times a No one under 40 would remember that feeling when yer mum told you it was Steak & Kidney Pudding for dinner, everything got left like playing football outside, and you just waited to be called to the table.

I have a soft spot for Gregg's. They do a good deal; if you have a coffee or tea, you get a sausage roll - or other bake - very cheaply.
Fish and chips is often better by the coast. But beware of the seagulls; they will do their best to relieve you of it!
