Announcing Flutter’s very own YouTube 📺channel!

Thanks to the entire Flutter community around the world 🌏 for helping make Flutter videos a success on the Google Developers channel. The Flutter team has done an amazing job with both “The Boring Show” and “Flutter Widget of the Week”. At Flutter Live, they announced Flutter 1.0, the first stable release of Google's UI toolkit to craft high-quality native interfaces for your apps.

We are launching the new Flutter YouTube channel to continue bringing you the latest best practices on how to build beautiful native apps on both iOS and Android, all from a single codebase!

There’s also a new series in store for you, Flutter in Focus! We’ll teach you all about the different Flutter features available...all under 10 mins. All new Flutter content, including new episodes of Boring Show, Widget of the Week, & Flutter in Focus will only be released on Flutter’s new YouTube channel. See the lineup of Flutter shows below:

A series of quick, animated videos, each introducing a particular widget from the flutter SDK.

A video podcast-style show in which engineers from the Flutter team hack on stuff, debate techniques, make (and fix) mistakes, and answer your questions.

Sets of tutorial videos that relate to a particular topic, like widget composition and asynchronous patterns.

I think Flutter is a mess right now. So many packages have androidx but some plugins are still not updated to support it. At the end its just a game of mixing and matching versions from different plugins to make it work. And its frustrating! Although Google has provided a list of plugin versions that are prior to androidx but that list isn't exhaustive! Will definitely come back to flutter once this gets fixed!
