Revival of Colossus of Rhodes | George Barboutis | TEDxRhodes

Показать описание
What is the importance of reviving an ancient wonder today? What are the timeless human-centred values symbolized by this Colossal monument, and how do we bring them to light to be further explored? How could the world benefit from a modern day beacon dedicated to world peace, collaboration and coexistence of all people?
Ποιος είναι ο σκοπός της αναβίωσης ενός αρχαίου θαύματος στην σημερινή εποχή; Ποιές είναι οι ανεξίτηλες αξίες και τα διαχρονικά ιδεώδη που αντιπροσωπεύουν το Κολοσσιαίο μνημείο και που αξίζει να διερευνηθούν και να διαδοθούν; Πως μπορεί ο κόσμος να ευεργετηθεί από την δημιουργία ενός σύγχρονου έργου-φάρου αφιερωμένου στην παγκόσμια ειρήνη και στην συνεργασία των λαών;
George A. Barboutis was born in Alexandria Egypt and moved to Greece at an early age.
