One more tip: actually use the stone of penance. If your build isn't focused on luck it's a lifesaver for getting ethereals to drop. The upgraded accessory is just a nice bonus tbh

Good tips overall, I also entered DotW at around 335. It honestly seems way easier than DotS did when first entering. Tip #10 is the key, sometimes you just gotta step back for a bit.

The answer to all difficulties is onmyo magic. Fighting with full buffs vs no buffs is two different games.

I turned the game on to play the new dlc after quitting about 2 months ago, saw the level requirements and remembered my build was a versatility splitstaff build and forgot all the combos and just turned the game off again this made me wanna actually grind again thanks!

Mate, your vid is talking directly at me. I haven’t touched both dlcs yet coz I got burnt out...completed dotd and thought nah I’m not touching wise, then I realised the attribute cap goes up in wise so figured I’d do it...I’m currently way under levelled, trying to run through the main missions in the base game on wise but struggling a little but with these tips I reckon I have a clear view of what I need to do. Thank you, really appreciate this vid and glad to know legends like yourself go through the same shit as the rest of us😅.

Dotw is entirely possible if you’re underleveled, i don’t recommend to go above penitence level 5 though if not using a specialized build, as fights with be significantly longer and harder.

Semi unrelated but I freaking beat Enenra at +9 after 6 tries with my last quick change in that castle mission with Lady Osakabe, then got 1-shot almost instantly by a cannon when his room door disappeared lol, almost ragequit

Edit: I started Dotw at lvl 347 and am currently 417 at afterglow

That explains part of it. Starting wotw at level 211 is my problem lol.

The damage was definatelly your build. I used Otakemaru ability and ninjitsu feathers and Gozuki went down in 10 seconds.
Also clay bells are also very underated, having 3 cats on your side can not only stagger the bosses and enemies but gives you full anima every 10-15 seconds.
