I love Roxanne's personality and how this song captures it, the Queen of sass and narcissism but all to hide her insecurities.
Well the song seems to be against Gregory many of the lines apply to her too as if she is giving herself a pep talk or her self-doubt creeping in, the background lines near the end sounds like "I don't matter" showing her lack of self-confidence.

This personally fits for Roxy, her character, and her personality. Even then she was a bully and narcissist, I felt sympathy/bad for her in RUIN when she had a change for heart. Poor Roxy. It felt like to me that she was built up too much to only be treated like crape. I even felt so bad for her hearing her crying. 🥺
