Project CARS Cancelled on Wii U - IGN News

Project CARS on Wii U has officially been cancelled, according to developer Slightly Mad Studios boss Ian Bell.

A third-party game cancelled on Wii U? I'm shocked. Nintendo why don't you care about third parties? Stop shooting yourselves in the foot! The 80s/90s are over! However, since Nintendo is doing well financially, we won't see these changes anytime soon.

These people are pricks. Took all the money donated by many wii u owners and lied to them saying it was running amazingly and all of a sudden the wii u cant run it? I never expected the wii u to run it because of the small amount of power the wii u has. But just the fact you lied and ran off with the donated money to give the game to everyone else? Smh.

And SlightyMad is asking for donations for Project Cars 2. They haven't even fixed the glitchy first one!

I knew it would happen eventually. Though, they HAD to had known about the cancellation way earlier, therefore they were lying to the Wii U gamers.

Also, "they are waiting for the next home console". I wouldn't be so damn sure about that, since nobody will care about the game at that point anyway.

Slightymad sucks. They are asking for donations for project cars 2 even though they don't need them and they are making the special editions of the game extremely overpriced. The first project cars wasn't even good because of the lack in content compared to other racing games. I'm not giving a cent to them

The Wii U is almost 3 years old and it's still suffering from the same problems it had since launch: poor sales and poor third-party support.

The Wii U has about a few years left in its life span. It ain't gonna last beyond 2017-2018. Hell, the popular Wii didn't even last longer than 6 years. Imagine how long the failing Wii U will last.
