I watched a few old footages from the XIX century, and I was just amazed at those films and how I was able to observe those people walking around, just living the life many many years ago. Berlin is nice for walking but it is such a big place that you really need to use the S-Bahn/U-Bahn to see all of the different neighbourhoods. Fortunately it is pretty cheap, when I was there in 2021 an all day ticket was around 8 euros and the service is very efficient. As an example, from the Olympic Stadium to Checkpoint Charlie is around 11km and takes almost an hour on the S-Bahn/U-Bahn.
