From the history of Kusadasi... It is close to Kusadasi Pier. It was built in 1618 by the Grand Vizier Öküz Mehmet Pasha. Kurşunlu Han, that is Öküz Mehmet Pasha Caravanserai, was first built as a castle, and then it began to be used as an inn. There is a two-storey, cloistered indoor space around the rectangular courtyard surrounded by thick and high walls. It was built using rubble stone and spolia. The caravanserai, which looks like a small citadel, has a triangular tip and pointed dendanel at the top. There are rooms lined up around the large courtyard. It has been restored in various periods and is in good condition. There are two stairs leading to the upper floor from the back at the northwest and southeast corners. The entrance of the caravanserai is in the north, and the marble doorway is covered with an arch.
