Singapore and ASEAN should not be seen as a battleground for US and China tech giants but instead, as an integrator and platform for firms from different markets. Trade and Industry Minister Chan Chun Sing was responding to a question on whether ASEAN's digital economy could see a bigger dominance by US or Chinese firms, or emerge as a powerhouse on its own. Mr Chan was at the FutureChina Global Forum, attended virtually by some 500 business leaders and experts from Asia.
