I have 2 of these, fortunately bought with 5 years warranty so they got free repairs for the several times they went back to fix, problem was always icing up on the coils and not defrosting. Out of warranty now and icing up again, Ebac say there is nothing I can do and repair will cost £115...not economical so will be going to the tip. They work so well to extract moisture from the air, but either side of the coils inside both of them are rusty inside and the water extracted often has bits of rusty dirt in it; seems unwise to use a ferrous material in a condensing unit, you should expect water right? I suspect the rust is what ends up blocking something inside that causes the icing up.
