Very well explained, one question, when the edits are complete, I have to export, but Lightroom does not export maintaining the original folder hierarchy, it’s important I keep this structure, so should I use the plugin to maintain folder integrity, thanks

Very cool! I've used sync for a long time but didn't notice auto-sync! Thanks! I generally only use sync to set the white balance in all shots, to begin with (e.g. my eBay photos).

I never knew about autosync - thank you

I sync them after processing one, but autosync is also a good option. Thanks!

I’ll remember this trick when I do another panorama. I always shoot them in manual mode, so the camera doesn’t change anything. In LR, I normall pick one frame and use “previous” on subsequent frames. Auto sync takes care of it. Thanks.

You can copy and paste to multiple images if you right click on the source image in the film strip, select Develop Settings -> Copy Settings and then highlight the images in the film strip you want to copy to and right click on one of them and select Develop Settings -> Paste Settings. It will then update all of the selected images with the one you copied from. I am not sure why Adobe doesn't code the buttons to work the same way as the right-click menu option. (This is in Windows, not sure about Mac.)

You need to make sure the images you are coping from the previous one that you have already edited has to have all of the same camera settings as well correct?

I use the edit "one file, then use the 'sync' button other similar images" method, but will give Autosync a try next batch of bicycle race pictures.

I think there is a bug in the crop tool when you do batch edit. If you choose a preset aspect ratio and copy it across along with other adjustments it’ll copy fine but when you want to change the size of a specific photo (while keeping the same aspect ratio) that has been copied to, the aspect ratio is lost and change to custom - it does not keep the same aspect ratio select earlier. I reported this issue to Adobe immediately after the version before the current one was released and they promised me to correct it but I still see it in the latest release of LR Classic 10.3.

Anthony I have a problem, can you advise me please? I have batch edited as you describe in LRc. How can I open all 75 edited images into PScc, so that when I run my PS action it will act on all the edited images and not just the CR3 RAW original image ? tia.

I like auto sync, but very often forget to turn it off and end up syncing more pics than I want. I wish that LR would have a more contrast setting in the filmstrip so I can see when I have multiple images selected. Also I wish auto sync switch was not persistent, or at least, give us the ability to make it auto turn off after making a new selection.
