Thanks bro! Just saved me a huge service fee from over-priced HD service personnel!! I got my bike stuck in a damn hole trying to get out of my backyard and the stupid check engine light came on... the jerking around of the bike caused the P0503 code to trigger. I preferred when my motorcycle stayed silent on these matters.

You didn't mention that on these newer models the "c" indicates that it's a current code. An "h" would be a historic code.

Once the code is showing, how do you exit out of it without clearing the code ?
Eg it may be a code you don’t want to clear because you want the dealer to see it first .

👍🏻A 2020 Road Glide Special has TPM system? I thought it was only on the CVO’s. I wish my 2019 Ultra had TPM. I wonder If it can be retrofitted?

I got a brand new 2023 RoadKing Special. First quick ride got the check engine light. All codes showed “y” and were “h”. Dealer told me how to clear them (exactly same as you demonstrated). Went for second ride. Same thing. Check engine light, same codes, cleared them. Now what? Should it go away after more riding? Didn’t do it on my 2021 Softail Slim.
