I love Quince for cashmere sweaters, silk blouses, silk and cotton dresses. Love it! It’s online but returns are extremely easy. Prices are very very good, and the clothes are classic and simply chic. Beautiful fabrics.

Love the two-tone high heeled boots! I like that they add a bit of interest rather than blending in. I'm 64yo and I like styles from Ann Taylor, Talbots and J. Crew. I sell on Poshmark so most of my pieces are thrifted vintage but my top criteria is quality material and construction. You really can't go wrong with classic cashmere, silk, leather and wool.

Talbots has worked for me for quite some time. I am 5 feet tall, so I am typically limited on availability. They have petite sizes and usually have classic pieces available. I shop online at Talbots, Ann Taylor, J Crew. Have also bought clothing from Quince and Lily Silk that I have been happy with.

Brands like Talbots and Chicos have some cool modern pieces, but they also carry frumpy pieces I wouldn’t be caught dead in. As you mentioned, you have to sort of know what you’re looking for and then you’ll recognize it when you see it. Dillards is our only department store left here and I like some of their Vince Camuto and Alex Marie pieces. Thanks for the video.

In Scotland, we would use a kilt pin to hold the skirt shut at the desired length. No need to sew it 😁 The outfit is amazing on you ❤

I am 78 years old, I have an apple shape figure, I shop at Ralph Laurent, not your daughter’s jeans, mango, Gant woman, Escada Sport. Everything is chic, comfy and sometimes ditzzy(like the polo bear on RL sweaters). Have a lovely winter.
