How to Prepare Enoki Mushrooms

A demonstration of how to clean Enoki Mushrooms before cooking!

You can use water if it doesn’t feel like your mushrooms are clean but try to make it a little and make sure to dry them neatly ☺️

To be completely honest, these mushrooms have always given me the heebie-jeebies, but I’ve been exploring with my ramen. I decided I need to overcome my irrational fear of them and give them a try. Thank you for this video, because after I bought them I had no idea what to do with them. I’m going to be trying them tomorrow, I hope it goes well. 😅

Y’all clean them in the bag by cutting off about an inch of them bottom of the bag add a little water and vinegar shake around pour out and repeat minus the vinegar it will not.. change the flavor but you will keep yourself from being sick. The more you know

Wow I always wash it with water and it turns cloudy... Not sure why. Need to wash four times before water is clear.

Thank you so much for this video. Do people ever eat these raw? I mean like if you rinse them? I saw one video where she rinsed it in salt water to kill bacteria. I think that's so interesting because when you cook it don't you kill all the bacteria?

question here! ive noticed that your enoki mushrooms b4 cooking are not the same with mine. mine are very soggy, ive kept it on my freezer and it would be rock solid so i tried the fridge then its this soggy mess. it has been 5 days now since ive bought it and now worried that its not safe to eat anymore. please lmk thank u sm !! new subscriber here :))
